It wasn't for the first time, probably won't be for the last. Being fat is one of the last categories of people it's still socially acceptable to publicly degrade. Hell, I get dirty looks at the gym. AT THE GYM!

As a joke answer: that's because you didn't put the weights back damn it! On a serious note: that's absolutely terrible and the assholes doing it need shaming and possibly beatings. The gym sucks for some of us, but we're there working through it

As a fat person, I feel judged most harshly at the gym. It's not conducive to continued weight loss
