Oh I love car chases- if I could draw just that in all comics I would be SUPER happy :D (this is from my THE SPIRIT: THE CORPSE-MAKERS mini) But yes, comic artists need to be able to draw everything, specially the quiet parts which makes most of each story.

One of the things I’ve really enjoyed about making my own comic is that it’s pushed me out of my comfort zone. I got better at perspectives, environment, camera angles, composition and so much more. But drawing this car chase is gonna be rough while I’m doing it. >_<
