It's nearly 4am on a cold, grey Monday morning. The rain alternates between gentle patters and coursing torrents on the corrugated iron roof; I'm lying awake in the dark, waiting for my alarm to signal my final day of work, and in 18 hours, I'll be reunited with my fiancé. Huh.
I decided to have a lazy day yesterday, and only had my first cup of coffee after an impromptu afternoon nap. As someone who only started drinking coffee a couple of years ago, it's amazing how integral it's become to my productivity. Can't skip it today if I want to clean the kitchen...
As soon as I get out of debt and have some spare petty cash lying around, I'll look into this; colour has always been my weak point.
It's Friday, which means early exit from the day job; I found my stylus last night, which means I can draw stuff today; my cat doesn't hate me after yesterday's medication kerfuffle, so my mood has vastly improved. This is on track to be a much better day than the last.
QRTing this because I saw the State of Play. We are SO BACK, BABY! #StateOfPlay#PS5#legacyofkain#soulreaver
Home at last. I could do some drawing, but today has been emotionally exhausting, so I may just zone out for the evening. If I get the energy, I'll doodle something, but my head is not in the game right now.
Between the release of MtG's Bloomburrow, the Root RPG, and a childhood growing up on Farthing Wood and Don Bluth movies, I've been feeling the need to write/draw a comic featuring many interesting furry animals with swords. Now how do I do that without ripping off any of those, or Mouse Guard?
Moot point, I left my stylus at home. One more little turd slice on the crap sandwich that is my day.
I should draw something to get out of my own head, but I'm so far up in there that I'm dragging my feet on even pulling out the tablet.
