I worked 3 years in an art supply store & 25 years as a commercial artist...artist paint companies are deeply reliant on larger paint color industries (like automotive). There was a legendary deep but translucent golden orange called Qui
(Sorry)...Quinacridone Gold. God it was gorgeous.
