it’s just… in this day and age, it is not enough to have pronouns and same-sex attraction(s) to be queer, and the *perversion* of the leather lineage especially the leatherDYKE lineage is structurally integral. you do not have leatherdykesex without sex perverts, period bar none.

i had a label for these kinds of people that they were certainly over the understood threshold to call yourself queer, but that you were not even remotely "culturally and historically queer" someone might call this distinction a form a gatekeeping, and it maybe is, but it is such a low entry burden
