Some #CardiacSarcoidosis#WorldHeartDay#Sydänsarkoidoosi
Since then, my sarcoidosis has been active once. At the moment it's under control with 3 different heart meds (i/v biologic, immunosuppressant and betablocker) and my ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) pacemaker -my lil' lifesaver 🥰
I had some dizziness, heart palpitations and blurry vision some time before I suddenly started fainting many times. The dizziness felt like a wave that went up in my head, then down again. It´s a really scary feeling having life-threatening arrhythmia. Please take any heart symptoms seriously.
When the sarcoidosis is active, there's inflammation in my heart, causing problems with the electric functions of the heart. It all started in Dec 2020 when I had multiple v-tach and v-fib fits, which led to cardiac arrest.
Pretty cool, I suppose 😁 But the first 10% isn't too bad either!
Great! 💪🏻 I'm done. Well, cooking, laundry hanging again, dusting.. 😖
