#Inktober2024 rendering test thread 2/2. Ended up going with the pure black shading and started dropping colours in.

Four digital drawings, but each having a different way of shading/colouring. The methods are underneath the pure black shading inks. Clockwise we have gradient, rough wash, hard shading, and pencil.

#Inktober2024 Day 13. Inking tests pt 2

Four digital drawings, all based on the same sketch. The drawing is of Crescendo's protagonist holding and playing a violin. The duplicate drawings are to test how the lineart of the comic will look. The brushes used in pt 2 are Gasa Yaya Line Pen, Dry Ink, Analog Grainy Textured Pen, and Break Up.

Misty the catgirl is in a dark room. She thinks to herself "I'm a monster". Her boyfriend, a devil, opens the door and asks "Misty, are you in here?" He sees her crouched on the floor. When she turns around, we see that she's eating a mouse that she has caught.

#Inktober2024 Day 11. The first set of thumbnails for the comic. I spent most of today working on the final script so hopefully I'll have more than one set in future instalments.

Digital thumbnail sketches of the first three pages of Crescendo. It features the main protagonist creating a ritual circle and summoning a demon.
A digital sketch of Eliseo and Cesare, with some text that says "I only just realised I haven't told y'all what this comic is even about. Basically, main character Eliseo summons a demon, Cesare, in order to become the most famous violinist in Venice, and maybe all of Italy. But Cesare decides he wants to stick around for a bit before sealing the deal. Masquerading as a servant, Cesare follows Eliseo as he prepares for a contest that will determine his fate and fame. But has Eliseo bitten off more than he can chew?"
