I still deal with trauma of seeing my best childhood friend become an actual waste of skin/oxygen because of weed... So I can vouch for this statement wholeheartedly. I don't vilify it either, but... I have a VERY difficult time being around it. I check myself ALL THE TIME in those instances. :S
I get that. Took me 2-3 years to start to see the depth at which my ex effed me up/over, and I'm still finding things to this day. It'll take a while but keep going and getting better, and thriving. Best way to get back at your ex. In the meantime, may all his sex involve sandpaper and/or sand.
