Thats what im saying like clearly everything that happens to Elise is specifically based upon the fact she’s a peasant girl in 1800s austria. She has no power and barely any say in her town which is run by the men and the only way she can achieve her dream is marrying into money

Yeah like it's telling a specific story based on specific context. Switching gender is fun for analysis and exploration, but.. I don't think it's something I personally enjoy in this context. 😷
