A fun fact: Fox in the Forest actually started as an attempt at a modern take on Cribbage. I gave up when every one of my early prototypes just made me want to play Cribbage instead, and I decided to switch to trick-taking instead. I couldn't crack it, I'm curious to see what you did here!

Despite my bravado I'm not entirely sure I've cracked it. After some experimentation I ended up dropping hand and crib scoring, and instead am focusing on making play over multiple hands as interesting as possible. We'll see how it does
