I only remember reading these when they were created as mini-comics that came inside the VHS box for the Pokemon anime videos. I think they stopped after only a few, though. Imagine my surprise to find out that they censored Misty's outfit when it came over to the western markets.

I *think* a lot of this had to do with the artist, who themselves dabbled in a lot more mature styles of art, plus Japan at that point in time with their standards. And in hindsight, I can kinda see it. XD
