not commenting on any particular drama but on drama itself a fight here and there is understandable, but if it feels like you just never fucking stop arguing, like your posting is daily fighting with people month after month I'm gonna just assume you're addicted to fighting people

I had a friend who would spend a LOT of time arguing with this one transphobe on twitter, like day in and day out with several messages a day back and forth all stemming from a single weeks-old argument i think when you're both that committed, you've unintentionally become friends

it's the nature of social media i think, maybe less so on platforms like bluesky or cohost or whatever but social media companies know rage keeps people hooked and look for every way to stoke it, and some people carry that mentality forward even after leaving where they first got it from

like there's some people I've referred to as anger addicts, which, I don't think is actually an addiction, but describes someone who just, seems to really fucking need to just be arguing with someone about something someone needs to be your enemy for you to function day to day
