Smaugust 2024 challenge, day 11: "Hybrid" #WingsOfFire#wof#dragon#wofMastermind#wofMorrowseer#wofStarflight#wofSunny (prompt sheet by Pencilcat)

A comic opening on a conversation between Mastermind and Morrowseer, two Nightwings in some kind of dimly-lit interior space. Mastermind asks Morrowseer if he made sure to arrange for "the eggs" to hatch under an exposed sky. Morrowseer assures him that he did, and that the eggs will hatch while bathed in moonlight. He begins rambling about Nightwings who hatch "thrice-blessed", and how the Nightwing hatching from that egg will be very powerful and important. The scene shifts to a hypothetical shot of Starflight, illuminated by moonlight, looming large and imposing, with glowing eyes. Morrowseer's train of thought is interrupted by Sunny, whose eyes are glowing just like Starflight's. Morrowseer demands to know the meaning of this, to which Sunny replies that she is part Nightwing (and thus eligible to receive powers from the moons as well). She is jubilant about how glowy she is, while Morrowseer goes into complete denial.
