Spring has arrived when I hear the common yellowthroat at the local wildlife refuge. Getting a picture of them is another matter. You'd think a bright yellow bird would be easy to spot, but nope.

Yes, I was truly surprised when I saw how bright yellow they were! Not a touch of dullness! How on earth were they blending in up til now?? 😂
