oh this is so nice thank you so much for the compliment; i wrote a big chunk of Hugh’s sections (Andy allowed me to punch up and edit what he already had for chapters 1 and 7, i wrote 4 whole-cloth) and I really wanted him to feel like he was coming from an “alien” POV WRT the borg so thank you! 🥹💚

It really seems like he's struggling to be two things at once-- the shell of the Collective still left with him and his newfound humanity. I'm working through the book slowly but surely! it's very good
