All phenomena are fleeting. He/him. For those who don't know me from other social media sites: Waffles (Waf) is the name of our dog, not the name of my husband.

I'll have to get him two small mirrorballs to replace his missing ones.

I'm just happy that the unit below us has been empty during this Marlowe adjustment period, and I hope it remains so for a while.

Well. I mean. The idea that Texas would have a problem with a fascist president is a bit out there, but in the context of the movie it works, I thought.

I thought it was made very clear. They even establish the journalists think of him in the same light as Gaddafi, Hussein, and the like. How odd.

The president is clearly fascist, and the alliances formed to combat fascism. A bit idealistic of course, but the general idea is that in this reality, states put political ideology aside to ban together to beat a common foe, in this case Ron Swanson.

Or Vex, of course.

Yup. I actually say it to my husband when he'd give overly-complicated orders to Waf and now to Marlowe.

I love that one. This one also sticks with me:

First panel of a Far Side cartoon: A man saying to his dog, Okay Ginger. I've had it! You stay out of the garbage! Understand, Ginger? Stay out of the garbage or else'. Second panel, labeled 'What dogs hear': blah blah blah, Ginger blah blah blah Ginger blah blah blah.'

Surely they rotate them out? Like tours of duty or something?
