Spent longer than I wanted to getting oh-my-posh working on windows terminal because winget doesn’t work on a clean windows 11 install. Can’t do without it for cli git stuff. Think that’s the dev laptop all sorted now though
Installing all the updates and I must have mild ptsd from the knackered laptop restarting itself over and over. Each restart is like a flashback
Windows XP with the Zune theme and Visual Studio 2008 will always be peak in my book. The linux and mac crowd will hold their nose but I had plenty of vim/SunOS before that so I could hold my nose but I choose not to

We’re getting the floors done so I’ve got to walk her. Then shower. Then feed her. Then get ready. Then walk her again because that will be the last chance for a bit. Then put her upstairs and all her stuff in the garage. Then go in. Speed run tomorrow
I got up at 5 am to walk the dog and get everything sorted before going to the office, but I’m moving so slowly from being knackered that I wonder if I wouldn’t have been better off getting up now and rushing around
My nice sleek dell xps laptop is bust. Restarts without warning or apology in 10 minute half-lives as it gets hotter. Swapping it tomorrow and quietly hoping for something less sleek. I think I’m over the whole “ooh look at my laptop” thing
