I had a custom pair of polarized sunglasses made, with the polaroid filter in the left lens rotated 90° from the polarization angle of the right lens. (Basically, one eye vertically polarized, and the other eye horizontally polarized.) I could instantly see every reflective surface everywhere. Also,

I always knew which direction is North in the daytime (because sunlight scattered from the Northern part of the sky is polarized). I could see every window on every building & every puddle on the ground. Also, LCD screens are polarized, so I could close one eye to not see the fucking TVs everywhere
