I have been with the Commission on Ministry and Standing Committee at Honey Creek for a Postulancy Retreat with one person feeling called to be a deacon and four feeling called to the priesthood. I am so grateful for the faithful work these groups do in discerning the Spirit’s call. #episcopal ⚓️
A delightful visit to St. Thomas in Thomasville included a baptism and confirmations and a discussion in the parish hall, where a United Methodist congregation meets on Sunday mornings. So many have worked hard here to make a bi-vocational model of ministry work well. #episcopal ⚓️
I made my visitation to the Church of the Epiphany that meets in what we are creating to be our Episcopal Center on the corner of Daffin Park in midtown Savannah. The congregation led by the Rev. Michael Chaney are continuing to meet as renovations are underway. #episcopal ⚓️
