Small spiders (cellar spiders, jumping spiders): 3/5⭐ Yeet at low angle. Large spiders (huntsman, etc): 1/5⭐ Might cling to container. Best to leave the container open outside. If in a hurry, yeet gently. Other rare arachnids (vinegaroons, amblypygis): 0/5⭐ Cup, admire, gently escort outside.

This is a very good list. Stinkbugs are invasive in my area, so they get picked up with tissue or my hand smells like stinkbug (like cinnamon and cilantro mixed with something I can't identify) then flushed. Spiders and centipedes stay in the house unless my wife sees them.

…how large? I think “large spider” means something different in the tropics

through trial and error, woe and maiming i have found most containers terrible for spider yeetin'. large plastic pitchers and a piece of cardboard will gently loose them from the ceiling and make it difficult to climb, and the pitcher gives a good chuck out the door

Man, I yeet huntsmen out across the lawn from the container I catch them in. They fly and land easily then scurry away.
