4kids honestly actually nailed it sometimes, their work on the kirby anime was pretty peak

If 4kids were the sole reason why some localisations were bad, I have my doubts. Localisation is a collaborative effort. Brock called them jelly filled donuts because both 4kids and rightholders in Japan wanted it to be relatable. As for actual dubs, no comment. I watch subs/raw when I can.

I haven't watched *very* 4Kids show so maybe one slipped under my radar, but if we're being honest the only genuinely bad dub they've made is One Piece, and even that has the hilarious opening rap. Their style is kind of awful and disrespectful, but they achieved their goals well.
