I heard about it, but I'm DC local. Believe it or not, people trying to ram the gates/breach the grounds at the White House happens more often than you'd think so it doesn't tend to make national news. I'm not saying it's common, but it happens enough that the press doesn't really care about it.

Of course the minute some outsider manages to make contact with someone on grounds that isn't Secret Service tazing their ass, we're definitely all gonna hear about it.
