A sunset over the Grand Canyon. The view is straight ahead and over the Grand Canyon. The overall scene is full of reds, oranges and yellows. Heavy clouds occupy the top of the image. Just below the clouds is the sun, which is very, very bright. Sun rays project over the rest of the scene. The sky is clear below the sun and mostly yellow. The canyon walls and features are in stark relief in the rest of the photograph. They project up and into the canyon, making for a striking layered effect. The bottom of the frame is all shadowed.
