surrounding myself with people who see good + potential in me and take time to grow that is so powerful. The self is outsourced to your web and becomes something that moves you. Curate your circles carefully! Check in with people who think you’re cool and appreciate your velocity!

I do quite literally stop remembering who I am when I am alone often. I become someone different and it’s so important to check in with other peoples perceptions because I am everything and nothing

Some interesting stuff regarding the self has been going around on Twitter, and the idea of the self being a “persistent fiction” that is created by the perception of others [sic] is really resonant for me. Like 60% of my need to be around other people is based on this.
