I remember one of my earlier parenting experiences when I hit my eldest kid with this hard hitting question… and they looked at me and asked “is the bridge on fire?”

This joke doesn't make sense because the mom leaf would also be changing color and that's not how baby leaves are made. And leaves can't talk. If they could talk they would probably say stuff like "Mmm, yummy carbon dioxide" or "it's starting to get chilly"
