Toyota gave 9% raises right after the UAW reached their agreement. Now Tesla is giving a 4% raise + bonuses to all 11k workers at its Berlin Gigafactory because workers were trying to unionize. Striking union wins ripple across industry. That's why you always stand in solidarity.
Can confirm, my wages went up by like 75 cents an hour suddenly when the competing store started paying its scabs that, and we didn't even have a union.
Solidarity motherfuckers 💥💥💥
Shouldn't there be workers on Tesla's board in Germany? I thought that was a thing? Or does that only apply to publicly traded companies?
Does 4% meet inflation? Also, unionizing in Germany and the US are not the same. Worker protections in the ol black, red and gold are on another level compared to the US.
Eat the pizza, take the raise, and unionize anyway.
There’s a Tesla strike currently ongoing in Sweden, too.
German Bender on the first ever labor strike against Tesla.
Every industry, every worker, every time.
