There's a great bit about this in Richard Feynman's biography, "Surely you're joking Mr. Feynman", which I don't remember precisely enough to relate, but I do remember being highly amused by.

By douchey I mean 'supporting bad people', because they often don't know what they're talking about. :/ Anything beyond the World Service is just a bit crap these days.
They try to be neutral by being positive about everyone. Unfortunately, that means they often come off as douchey.
