Settings > Moderation > Content filters, you can opt to disable seeing any tagged NSFW of any kind or just have it under a CW with a click through

and it's hard to get a read on bsky from press releases but it does seem like they know people don't want to put up with the Twitter monetization and they seem to be looking for an alternative (I think simplifying domain registration for custom handles is a really good first step imo)
