It would be easier to push Israel to comply if it wasn’t for the fact that UNIFIL was useless to stop Hezbollah from being in the region, constructing missile launchers, and attacking Israel there, in violation of the UNSC res 1701.

Maybe if Israel didn’t invade and occupy much of Lebanon in 82 for two decades there would not have been a need for Hezbollah to exist in the first place

UNSC Res. 1701 includes "No foreign forces in Lebanon without the consent of its government" as part of its terms.

Maybe forcing Israel to return all shipped arms and pay back the US government's military aid of the past decade would do something.
