There was an article in Haaretz some ~14 years ago with the founder of the unit. Its definitely time to give them more profile to their decision making. IMO many do not know they exist.
I know the IDF Spokesperson's office mentions them a lot, but yes, it seems like because we never actually see the staff being interviewed, people think they don't really exist.
