This is my first March #Deeper80s So it's the first time I've heard it on the radio for 44 years :)
I had not heard, at the time, that St Philips Choir was based in Croydon. #Deeper80s Unlike Captain Sensible, at least one of our own made it out of Xmas 84 successfully
This Children in Need song (as St Philips, not the Angel Voices/Libera that was played) aired in 87 #Deeper80s Their 84 TOTP was literally backing Sal Solo on 'San Damiano You can even see the black-haired soloist,(left in the middle 2,2nd row). I'm guessing 9 w Sal,12 when he'd sung this original
