This morning I discovered that Maple has a very croaky horse sounding meow, which is a little scary because she meows like she's in pain. Soon as I call out to her, she stops but doesn't come upstairs. This has happened multiple times in the last hour. So much for sleeping in today 🫠

Maple can come upstairs if she wants, nothing is stopping her. She's just being very cat and seeking my undivided attention when I'm just trying to get some rest after a very long and exhausting week
