I find that answer wholly insufficient. Others didn't pierce his privacy, he did with this deleted tweet. To now claim it's a "privately held belief" when asked to clarify stinks of cowardice. The audience he wanted to see the message did, and he politely retracted when asked to contextualize it.

Yeah it's a clear PR move from someone who is gaining traction and popularity.
