It gives me a lot to think about, like... Is it the naivety of youth speaking? Or is this the way someone who has trouble expressing himself has found to do so? Is it the bitterness from past broken hearts that is speaking? Or is it maturity?

One of those interactions sounds more realistic, yet this too it's still wishful thinking, a glimmer of childish hope for something that's meaningful and permanent only for as long as humanly possible.
