Currently making my way through 'Starling House' by Alix E. Harrow on ebook, and 'A Tempest of Tea' by Hafsah Faizal in audiobook. These are proper autumnal reads, the first about an otherworldly possessed house, and the second about a vampire tea shop.

Front cover of Alix E. Harrow's 'Starling House'. The title is in white in the centre of the cover, with the author's name at the top of the page in golden yellow. It is preceded by "New York Times Bestselling Author", and there is a short blurb at the bottom of the cover which reads "Alix E. Harrow is an exceptional, undeniable talent - Olivie Blake, NYT Bestselling Author of The Atlas Six". The art of the cover is made up of a swarm of starlings in purple and turquoise, carrying yellow flowers, leafy twigs and golden keys.
Front cover of Hafsah Faizal's A Tempest of Tea. The title is at the centre of the cover and the author's name is at the bottom, preceded by "The New York Times Bestselling Author of We Hunt The Flame" - all text is elegant, nicely serifed and in white. The artwork is the tonal shape of a 1930s-esque boyish young woman in a newsies cap, drinking a steaming cup of blood from an elegant teacup. She is a sea of colour against the plain black background, but through her van be seen the shapes of a sprawling city in reds and blues.
