My favorite parts of the Decorative Landscapes is the yarn layer. It brings evening together. The thickness of the yarn and buttons creates additional challenges for squaring. They'll receive tight satin stitching along the edge to prepare for the frame building. My schedule link is in my bio.

The Greening has begun.

I guess you could say the threads have started unraveling. Maybe someone took a thread ripper to it. Yes, sew 😂

I came up with the idea of Three Little Birbs from a TikTok friend. I recreated them a little and added hand embroidered music notes, feet and eyes. I just began adding butterfly buttons as accents. I made the first 2 last year and an working on 6. They'll be framed in the next couple of weeks

Considering both Facebook and Instagram are down and I've not given any attention to BlueSky, I'll start sharing artwork! I'm also stuck at some sick. These are combinations of fabric and acrylic canvas, all hand cut words and machine sewn heading to my Spring events.

Sometimes it's hard to make things even though I continually chant to myself: trust the process.
