Pressure can ruin a reading experience. Pressure to like a hyped book. Pressure to devour it quickly. Pressure to keep reading, even if you don’t enjoy reading it. Read what you like. 💙📚

I felt this in my soul!

A friend invited me to a book club on Storygraph recently and even though I've only been able to read one of the club's selections, it's nice to have no pressure at all, which is so typical of many book clubs.
