Twenty years ago I was depressed and isolated so I started a blog. In an urge I had once and never again, I clicked to see any other blogs by people who liked Mystery Science Theater 3000, and found someone across the country who became my best friend (now my wife). Best hyperlink I ever clicked.

Twenty-ish years ago I joined LiveJournal for Lord of the Rings fandom reasons. Five years later I had coffee with a friend of an acquaintance from that circle of friends. This spring she & I celebrated our 10th anniversary. ❤️
