I'm halfway through #GoldenTerrace vol 1, chapter 24. I really like it. The translation is so readable. It really reinforces that quite aside from my love for specific individual stories, my favorite setting for c-novels is imperial/political drama, more than wuxia or xianxia.

I'm really enjoying the arranged marriage with political implications plot. I like both Fu Shen and Yan Xiaohan, their relationship is super interesting and nuanced.
