Now that there's some vaguely grown up people running the country, my interest in UK politics has plummeted. The various current reasons for bickering are storms in tea cups. It's a good thing, but I'm bored already.
Interesting day: caught in a motorway traffic jam, cut through a power cord in the garden, daughter rushed to eye hospital with hole in her retina. And work and volunteer stuff for Sunday's event. Fk it, I'm going to the pub!

That, and the incumbent administration was the least competent government since Chamberlain*, so many conservatives didn't vote. *It could be worse than that but I'm too young to know.
I find myself so occupied with voluntary commitments that Thursday is my Friday of my voluntary week - the last day before I have a rest - because I refuse to work for free on Friday night. This justifies a 🍺
