True, and if they're not helpful they might be a shit MP. I would guess proving trans discrimination is more difficult though as you need to identify it as the primary reason for the refusal. It doesn't sound nice tho.
That's not what I mean. If the request is one which the MP is the wrong person to go to for any constituent, you would expect them to refuse anyone - including a transgender constituent.
I think it would depend on what help was requested. Assuming the request is one you would expect any other constituent to be supported on, then potentially yes.
