People of good heart and good character can actually want the same thing—peace on Earth, democracy for all, an end to terror—and still have very different ideas about how to achieve it. The sooner we realize that, the sooner we can understand each other and begin to move forward.

Always good to start with "do no harm" and demand *very* good and very immediate reasons for doing otherwise. Basically, if you aren't about to be killed, don't even throw a punch. People get killed with a shove. If you aren't possibly saving a life, don't even give a hard shove.
