When Hillary Clinton called MAGA supporters “deplorables,” it was in the news forever. We still talk about it today. But when Trump called his political enemies “vermin”—actually invoking the words of Adolf Hitler—the press just moves on like it’s nothing. They are failing us.
They’re not here for us. They’re here for money.
Things have gotten so ugly so quickly that we are somewhat numb to it all. Even those of us who know it absolutely can happen again, even here… especially here. I can only deal with so much hate in the world before I revert back into hermit mode.
The press is doing less news and more editorializing. Most headlines read like the "national enquirer."
