Rounding error is awful.
Well, 1+1=3 for large enough values of 1. 1.4 rounds to 1, and 2.8 rounds to 3... so...
6 lap = 10 Miles They are probably referring to the equivalent of how tired you will feel after running those laps. 😊
Now it depends what is more accurate. IMHO it's 3 laps equal 1.2miles which means 1 lap would be 2/5 mile. But even so Americans like using fractions 2/5th is not common so the next best is 1/3rd, just go with it. 🤷♂️
Students are not alone in struggling with math.
Welp. Am not a mathematician. But isn't 3 laps should be 1 miles if 1 lap is 1/3 miles? 🙄
