Plagiarism in a PhD thesis - another German politician was found out and resigned. What about the responsibility of the PhD advisors? They did superficial work. They could afford admitting a mistake. They could protect their advisees and take part of the blame. They could reduce the # of PhDs.

Interesting question: is LLM-generated speech useful for LLMs? (Otherwise, the model self-defeats, see the discussion in the thread below.) My guess: yes, it is useful, because the time and context in which it is generated are not random. They carry valuable information.
