I mean, he's even a favorite of the TNG cast. I've seen cast interviews where Jonathan Frakes has said "Data is my favorite character" and Wil Wheaton responded with "He's everyone's favorite." 💚
People named Bruce Maddox and Admiral Haftel are SEETHING 😤 But I digress, there really is something about that character that's just universally endearing that I've yet to meet a hater.
