Is there nothing in the law or regulations that prevents intentional delay of a trial like this? I’m guessing no since I’d think someone would’ve filed something against trump and his dollar tree attorneys.

The laws allowing the accused to challenge the accusation exist to protect people from the power of the State. 99.99% of us lack the resources to exploit them as Trump does.
