Welcome! How important do you think very tight and solid gameplay is at creating a successful game? I always feel there’s a lot of games that come short of success just because their minute to minute gameplay is lacking tighter polish, but I always wonder if there are other factors that I undervalue

Yeah is it worth is to use 8k assets in a project if it's just going to be visual. Like I know this thing is gunna be like 50 gigs and I won't use it for anything and I only have one tiny SSD but I just want more experience using nanite!

I feel opportunities to socialize with other players have become weaker and weaker with each generation of MMOs, tracing all the way back to the "first gen" games like UO (or even back to MUDs). Gameplay is streamlined, quick group-ups is easier, and players socialize less outside guilds. Thoughts?

What kind of power level increase / path systems or philosophy are you thinking right now for Ghost, horizontal, vertical, mixed? I wonder since this is affect almost all major MMO in different ways, specially considering when new players join in or when releasing new content #gamedev

I've been putting off closely following Ghost until I have a huge backlog to crawl through, so this may be already announced; But I've found all the 'recent' MMOs seem designed for you to race to the endgame, and they end up boring. Are there any designs intended to slow progression down?

Is there a way to find a good balance between the solo dynamic of stat-based power progression and group play? Do you think it's possible, with careful design, to have progression that's satisfying at the level of, say, Path of Exile while still being a good co-op game?
