With Kickstand the stoat-lad successfully rescued, one of his first questions (in response to a comment by Magnus) was to ask "what's a pirate?" - this led to Magnus regaling him with tales of piratey adventures

This wee lad is Kickstand (the stoat) - an NPC our DM introduced that has been helping our party out. We will rescue him from his life of servitude (and imminent sacrifice by cultists)... and maybe get him a newspaper-boy job back at our home base
