Hmm, that's fair. I think my issue is that circular esque charts aren't the best choice for data visualization. I personally much rather do stacked bar charts to get a better idea of the distribution at the phyla level or even explore my family of interest at the genus/level. 1/

But at the end of the day, I'm also probably more interested in differential abundances to be honest, so I can see how these would be beneficial for a spot check on "did my sequencing go wonky" before moving on to more granular analyses 🤔 2/2
